Hi, I’m Huigyoeng Son. Currently, I’m an undergraduate student at GIST (2022-Present).

I focus on AI and Computer Vision, particularly on extracting meaningful insights from medical image data. As an undergraduate researcher at the GIST AI-MED Lab, I am working on the task of spatially predicting gene expression from pathology images.

More broadly, I am interested in multimodal learning and Vision-Language Models, especially in understanding how different modalities can be effectively aligned and integrated.

I really enjoy deeply exploring problems and understanding them at a fundamental level!
